Maverick School of Languages Student Induction and Orientation

Monday (or first working day of the week)

9am - Welcome and main school tour: Admin offices, Teacher's room, toilets, emergency exits, activities board, Computer room, kitchen area

9:10am - Placement Test: Writing, Speaking and Grammar

10:30 - Morning break - introduce to students and teachers

11am - Students receive a map of Dunedin and mark school, homestay and bus stops.

Go through student handbook (school & homestay rules)
Complete emergency contact details
Cover health and medical issues
Sign Public Trust documentation
Check visa and insurance and take copies for file

12pm - Lunch Break
1pm - Explanation of school:
Morning/Afternoon classes
12 week cycle/tests
